Project Objectives
One reach brought me on as a Lead Designer to:
- Head up efforts to showcase OneReach’s platform capabilities.
- Test the platform’s capabilities by using their steps in practical use cases.
- Produce AI skills that could be used as a AI library of resources.
Ditto’s Objectives
- Develop an aspirational application
- Automate agenda generation
- Provide meeting notes
- Support searching meetings across the org
- Allow the user to integrate the tool into their workflow
- Streamline onboarding and event creation processes
- Enhance user engagement
Solutions
When I joined this team, they were pretty new to managing and implementing features. I began organizing the effort by:
- Developing a feature set that accounted for dependencies on other features.
- Establishing user personas based on the “Product Adoption Curve” to prioritize features and guide the design process.
- Breaking down tasks for our production sprints into manageable units.
AI bots suffer from a typical problem. In order to use them the user needs to access them via a proprietary interface like rich web chat. We:
- Enabled users to seamlessly integrate it into their workflow via Email, Slack, Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom.
- Showcased the wide array of third-party tools supported by the OneReach platform.
- Employed a more robust contextual experience to facilitate further team collaboration post-meeting.
Results
The outcome of this effort ended up accomplishing the following for OneReach:
- The internal team leveraged the tool to enhance meeting recall, both internally and with clients.
- Utilized it to craft a promotional narrative showcasing the platform’s capabilities with a limited team.
- Discovered additional applications for the concept, expanding their potential customer base into areas such as education, mental health, and user studies.
- The organization also gained improved awareness of activities across the entire organization.
