Project Objectives

One reach brought me on as a Lead Designer to:

  • Head up efforts to showcase OneReach’s platform capabilities.
  • Test the platform’s capabilities by using their steps in practical use cases.
  • Produce AI skills that could be used as a AI library of resources.

Ditto’s Objectives

  • Develop an aspirational application
  • Automate agenda generation
  • Provide meeting notes
  • Support searching meetings across the org
  • Allow the user to integrate the tool into their workflow
  • Streamline onboarding and event creation processes
  • Enhance user engagement

Solutions

When I joined this team, they were pretty new to managing and implementing features. I began organizing the effort by:

  • Developing a feature set that accounted for dependencies on other features.
  • Establishing user personas based on the “Product Adoption Curve” to prioritize features and guide the design process.
  • Breaking down tasks for our production sprints into manageable units.

AI bots suffer from a typical problem. In order to use them the user needs to access them via a proprietary interface like rich web chat. We:

  • Enabled users to seamlessly integrate it into their workflow via Email, Slack, Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom.
  • Showcased the wide array of third-party tools supported by the OneReach platform.
  • Employed a more robust contextual experience to facilitate further team collaboration post-meeting.

Results

The outcome of this effort ended up accomplishing the following for OneReach:

  • The internal team leveraged the tool to enhance meeting recall, both internally and with clients.
  • Utilized it to craft a promotional narrative showcasing the platform’s capabilities with a limited team.
  • Discovered additional applications for the concept, expanding their potential customer base into areas such as education, mental health, and user studies.
  • The organization also gained improved awareness of activities across the entire organization.
